Privacy Policy for Word Meadow: Connect Puzzle
This Privacy Policy explains how the Android application Word Meadow: Connect Puzzle ("Word Meadow") handles information. The publisher is elm_cr4. Privacy questions may be sent to support.elmcr4@gmail.com.
Local gameplay data
Word Meadow does not require an account and does not currently provide cloud synchronization. The app stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device so that the game can work, resume, and show your statistics. This local data can include:
- level progression and current gameplay sessions;
- coin balance, discovered bonus words, hints used, and gameplay-time statistics;
- local purchase and entitlement state needed to grant, avoid duplicating, restore, or finalize purchases; and
- settings and tutorial preferences.
Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it may remove local data, subject to Android and Google Play behavior. Because Word Meadow has no account or publisher-operated backend, there is no server-side Word Meadow account profile to delete. Uninstalling does not necessarily delete data held by Google services; use the applicable provider controls and policies for that data.
Advertising and privacy choices
Word Meadow uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to provide advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage applicable advertising and privacy choices. These services may process technical, device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic, and approximate-location information according to Google's services, your region, device settings, and consent choices. Ads are not described as always personalized: the type of ad depends on applicable choices and configuration.
Mandatory interstitial ads may appear between eligible levels. Rewarded ads are optional and are shown only after you choose to request one. The Remove Ads purchase suppresses mandatory interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads remain available. Remove Ads does not mean that every Google SDK stops operating.
When Google makes the option available for your current circumstances, Settings includes a separate Privacy Choices action so you can reopen UMP choices. Google's privacy information and controls govern Google's processing.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Word Meadow does not receive or store raw payment-card details. Google Play processes transaction information under Google's terms and privacy practices. Word Meadow may store limited local technical purchase information needed to grant purchases, prevent duplicate grants, restore ownership, and finalize purchase processing.
Optional Usage Analytics
Usage Analytics defaults OFF. If you enable it in Settings, Word Meadow uses Firebase Analytics to send a limited set of gameplay and product-interaction events to help understand and improve the app. You can disable future Analytics collection again in Settings.
Word Meadow does not intentionally send submitted or attempted word text, target-word text, bonus-word text, purchase tokens, or order IDs in Analytics events. It does not set a custom Word Meadow user ID. Firebase and the device may process technical information associated with Analytics as described by Google's documentation.
Optional Crash Reports
Crash Reports defaults OFF and can be enabled or disabled independently of Usage Analytics. When enabled, Firebase Crashlytics may transmit crash, stability, application-state, installation, and device diagnostic information so technical problems can be investigated. Limited safe diagnostic context may include the current screen, chapter, level, session state, and build context.
Word Meadow does not intentionally attach submitted words or purchase tokens to crash reports and does not set a custom Word Meadow user ID. Crash Reports are not described as anonymous. Disabling the setting applies to future collection according to the SDK's supported behavior and does not promise retroactive deletion from third-party systems.
Offline dictionary
English word validation uses a bundled offline SCOWL-derived dictionary. Word attempts are checked locally; no online dictionary API is contacted. Attempted word text is not intentionally sent to Firebase telemetry. SCOWL is bundled word data and is not a runtime data processor.
External services
The app currently integrates these external services:
- Google Play Billing for purchases;
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for interstitial and optional rewarded advertising;
- Google User Messaging Platform for applicable advertising and privacy choices;
- Firebase Analytics only when Usage Analytics is enabled; and
- Firebase Crashlytics only when Crash Reports is enabled.
Google controls its own processing, retention, and user controls for these services. Consult Google's current privacy information for details. Word Meadow does not promise deletion of Google-held advertising, Billing, Analytics, or Crashlytics data merely because the app is uninstalled.
Audience
Word Meadow is intended for a general, broad adult audience. It is not directed specifically to children. The app does not claim to implement an age gate or to hold a COPPA compliance certification.
Your choices
Available controls include UMP Privacy Choices when required and available, separate Usage Analytics and Crash Reports toggles, the optional Remove Ads purchase, and other local Settings. Turning Analytics or Crash Reports off governs future collection according to each SDK's supported behavior. Rewarded ads remain a voluntary choice each time they are offered.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when app features, service providers, or release requirements change. The public policy should show its effective date when the publisher releases it. Contact support.elmcr4@gmail.com with privacy questions.
