1. Service purpose
Bridge: Closed Test ("Bridge") coordinates Android closed testing between developers and testers. It helps users discover apps to test, record eligible testing contributions, list their own apps, and take part in structured Campaigns.
Bridge is an independent service. Bridge is not Google and is not endorsed by Google. Bridge cannot represent Google, change Google Play requirements, or guarantee that Google Play will approve an app, release, or closed test.
2. Accounts and public aliases
You must provide accurate information, use an account you are authorized to use, and take reasonable steps to protect access to it. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Your public Bridge alias must not impersonate another person or organization, mislead other users, or contain abusive, discriminatory, unlawful, or rights-infringing content.
3. Genuine testing behavior
Bridge is intended for genuine testing contributions. Testers should install and use eligible apps as instructed, provide honest completion information, and respect app owners and other participants.
Bridge does not reward or require Google Play ratings or reviews. Coin rewards relate to eligible testing contribution—not the content, score, or existence of a Play Store rating or review. Users must not pressure others to leave positive ratings or reviews or make a reward conditional on doing so.
4. Test listings
An active Test listing currently runs for 48 hours. A base listing may require Coins. Permanent Play slot upgrades may provide free listing capacity, while a temporary slot cost may apply when no included capacity is available.
Current prices, available balance, capacity, and fees are shown in Bridge before confirmation. Once a listing is activated, applicable Coin fees are not refunded merely because the user cancels or stops using the listing early. Listing availability, prices, capacity, and eligibility remain subject to the current Bridge policy displayed in the app.
5. Campaigns
Under the current Campaign rules:
- a Campaign has 16 participant slots and begins when all 16 slots are filled;
- entry Coins are reserved while the Campaign is waiting to fill;
- the reservation is released if a participant leaves before the Campaign starts;
- the reservation becomes spent when the Campaign starts;
- the Campaign runs through 14 rolling 24-hour periods;
- participants are expected to complete the required testing work during each period;
- warnings may be issued for missed required work, and a third warning removes the participant;
- there is no Coin refund after Campaign start or removal under the current Campaign rules; and
- Campaign work itself currently grants 0 Coins.
Bridge shows the applicable commitment and entry cost before a participant joins. Campaign rules may be updated for future Campaigns; the rules displayed at confirmation govern that participation, subject to applicable law.
6. Coins
Coins are an in-app participation currency. They are not money or cryptocurrency, have no cash value, are not transferable outside Bridge, and cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for money.
Coins may be earned, reserved, spent, withheld, or reversed under current Bridge policies. Bridge may correct Coin state where fraud, reward abuse, duplicate grants, technical errors, chargebacks, or other invalid activity are identified. Coin operations are server-authoritative.
7. Optional rewarded ads
Rewarded ads are optional. A Coin reward is subject to a successfully completed ad, server-side verification, the current rolling allowance, consent and ad availability, and anti-abuse checks. Closing an ad early or receiving an unverified result does not grant Coins.
8. Google Play purchases
Permanent slot upgrades are one-time Google Play products. The purchase flow, payment, cancellation, and applicable refund processes are also subject to Google Play rules. Bridge verifies purchase state before granting or restoring an upgrade.
Nothing in these Terms overrides statutory consumer rights, including refund rights, warranties, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. User-generated content
Developer app information, app icons, testing instructions, public aliases, and private feedback are user-provided content. You retain any rights you already hold in your content, but you grant Bridge the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and deliver it for the service feature you selected.
You must have the right to submit or upload the content. Do not submit malicious code, unlawful material, another person's confidential information, or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
10. Prohibited behavior
You must not misuse Bridge. Prohibited behavior includes:
- fraud, automated fake testing, fabricated completions, or reward abuse;
- using multiple accounts or other methods to evade limits, warnings, or restrictions;
- impersonation, harassment, malicious content, or deceptive app information;
- attempting unauthorized access, bypassing security, disrupting the service, or probing it without permission;
- misusing tester, developer-app, notification, or private-feedback data; and
- using Bridge in violation of law, Google Play policies, or another person's rights.
11. Service availability and changes
Bridge may change, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, policies, prices, Campaign formats, or the service itself. The service may experience delays, errors, maintenance, data synchronization issues, third-party outages, or interruptions.
Bridge does not guarantee a particular number of testers, a listing response, Campaign fill time, Coin-earning opportunity, ad availability, purchase availability, or Google Play approval. Third-party services such as Firebase, Google Play, and AdMob may change independently.
12. Suspension and termination
Bridge may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or participation where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, serious or repeated rule violations, security risk, legal obligations, or harm to other users or the service. Where appropriate, Bridge may investigate before or after taking protective action.
You may stop using Bridge at any time and may contact support about account or data deletion. Terms that by their nature should continue—such as rules about completed transactions, rights, security investigations, disclaimers, and lawful retention—may survive the end of use.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Bridge is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, elm_cr4 does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular marketplace outcome, or that third-party apps are safe, suitable, accurate, or approved by Google Play. Testers should use normal device and account precautions when evaluating another developer's app.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, elm_cr4 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use Bridge, another user's app or content, or an unavailable third-party service. Any direct liability is limited to loss that was reasonably foreseeable and caused by a breach of a legal duty owed to you.
These limitations do not exclude or limit liability or rights where doing so is unlawful, including mandatory consumer protections.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when Bridge features, rules, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
